What about the privacy of my files and materials?

First, let us explain what kind of content we collect and how it's used. There are two types of content:

  1. Videos recorded or uploaded by you directly to your profile;

  2. External materials - such as books, articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. - that you upload to your AI.

In the first case, if you record videos directly on Wois, they are visible to your audience (either publicly or to members only). Wois automatically transcribes these videos and adds the content to your AI. If you delete any of these videos, the associated content will be removed from your AI as well.

In the second case, when you upload external materials, you also control how they’re presented. For example, if you upload your book, you can choose to include just a chapter or the full text, along with a link to purchase it on Amazon, your website, or elsewhere. No one will be able to download the full book or see its entire text - it is stored in your AI’s vector database, which is not accessible to anyone. When users ask your AI questions, they receive short, helpful answers based on the material and a link to the original source (e.g., the Amazon listing). If someone asks to see the full book, your AI won’t provide it.

Importantly, no large language models (like ChatGPT or others) are trained on your data. Even though Wois collaborates with third-party providers such as OpenAI, your private materials are never used for training external models.

If you choose to delete your account, your entire knowledge base will be permanently removed from our system.
